Our Staff is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and joyful environment in which children flourish.
All levels of our staff work together to ensure that each child’s individual needs and the group’s needs are met. Our group leaders, activity specialists and counselors are carefully selected based on experience and a passion for our mission. They are caring role models who understand that at Sprout Brooklyn: It is All About the Kids!
All of our groups have a 1:5 counselor to camper ratio. Our staff undergoes extensive training before and during the summer in child development, group dynamics, Israel & Jewish experiential education and safety & security protocols.
Each summer, in partnership with the Jewish Agency for Israel, we bring in a group of Shlichim, Israeli Emissaries, who are a core part of our camp community.
