Joining the Camp Sprout Lake tzevet (staff) means you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in our campers’ lives, cultivate personal growth and leadership abilities, and enjoy a summer filled with adventure and unforgettable experiences. 

What are we looking for? We’re after energetic, dedicated individuals who have a genuine passion for working with kids, a commitment to building a strong community, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Don’t worry if you don’t have prior experience—what’s most important is your positive attitude and eagerness to grow. We provide thorough training at the start of the summer and ongoing support to ensure both you and our campers have an amazing experience. The Hadracha Internship Program 

he Hadracha Internship Program is your chance to have an amazing summer back at Sprout, and it’s a paid opportunity just for students entering 10th and 11th grades! As an intern, you’ll team up with department heads and specialty staff to help run fun electives and program periods, all while gaining hands-on experience with campers and sharpening your counselor skills.
But that’s not all!  You’ll enjoy daily leadership development sessions and take special trips to Sprout Brooklyn and Westchester, creating unforgettable memories along the way. Plus, you’ll live with fellow interns and have a group day off to relax and bond. With only 16 spots available per session and priority given to incoming 11th graders, this is a competitive opportunity you won’t want to miss! You can choose between two exciting sessions. The Yozma Program 

Yozma is a special program for students entering 12th grade. Yozma participants are paid staff members at Sprout Lake, living in a bunk with campers and receiving professional development throughout the summer to help them transition into their roles as new counselors. Please note that Young Judaea does not allow potential staff members to submit applications to more than one Young Judaea summer program at the same time. By filling out this application, you understand that you are pursuing employment with Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake for summer 2025 only and do not have an active or open staff application for another Young Judaea summer program currently.
